Hey everyone PBIJ has a new venue location. All of our shows will now be in the Humanities Building’s Black Box Theater (Room HU114) on the Lake Worth Campus of Palm Beach State College. 4200 Congress Ave. Lake Worth, FL. This quaint theater is conveniently located one building over from our original venue.

PBIJ is pleased to announce that we have selected Chicago’s Mountain Dawn as our headlining troupe. Mountain Dawn is comprised of 3 women with one purpose: destroying your laugh-hole. They have performed and taught at Second City, iO Theatre, and at theatres and festivals all over the country. Together they are a stupidly smart comedy force which performs both sketch and longform improv. Recently they have performed at the 2010 Chicago Sketchfest, Donny’s Skybox at the Second City, and TBS’s Just for Laughs Festival in Chicago. Mountain Dawn will feature: Kat Barker, Colleen Doyle, and Nancy Friedrich.

Hello everyone! Florida Improv, Inc. and Mod 27 are pleased to present the inaugural, and hopefully annual, Palm Beach Improv Jamboree on August 27 & 28, 2010. This year’s event will feature 12 improv troupe’s coming together to celebrate improv in South Florida. We invite you to peruse our site and familiarize yourself with the many wonderful performers who will be participating.
