Purchase tickets for the South for the Winter Improv Series
Mod 27 Ticket Policy: All pre-purchased tickets will be “will call” pick up only. This means that no physical ticket will be mailed to you. Â Upon the completion of your transaction PayPal will email you a receipt. Â On the day of our performance please print this receipt and bring it to our box office (located at our performance venue). Â You may pick up your tickets starting 30 minutes prior to our performance. Â If you purchased a student ticket you must present a valid student ID at the time of picking up your ticket. Â Failure to present a valid ID will void your purchase–no exceptions.
New on the Street
Who doesn’t like new friends? Exactly! We are pleased to announce that we have added 4 new members to the Mod 27 family. Our improv troupe, Cheese & Crackers, has increased the size of their cast and added the following new members:

Cheese & Cracker’s new cast members will debut at our November 12th show. Come out and help us welcome them to the company. Each of the new cast members were selected from Palm Beach State College’s and Mod 27’s joint improv training program (AIT).
South for the Winter Series
Ah, Chicago, the Windy City, home of Barack Obama, Mecca of Improvisation, and really cold in the winter… So starting in Novmeber Mod 27 will be bringing down 1 Chicago improvisor every month through February to escape the frigid north for fun and laughter in South florida.
Palm Beach Improv Jamboree
Get ready for a hilarious time as Mod 27 and Florida Improv present the inaugural Palm Beach Improv Jamboree (PBIJ) to be held August 27-28, 2010, at the Duncan Theatre’s Stage West. Show times will be at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM featuring 12 improv troupes that will take you on a roller coaster ride of comedy.

National Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day Eve Show
You know, a lot of other theaters and improv troupes like to celebrate holiday themed shows. It dawned on us that this is a pretty fun idea so here is our version:
Join Mod 27 on Friday April 23, 2010 to celebrate National Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day Eve*.
To commemorate this great holiday we will be serving pigs-in-a-blanket to all who attend our show. Oh and vegetarians, have no fear, we’ve got you covered with meatless pig-in-a-blanket “crescent rolls sans the pig”.
The show will also feature improv with short form (Who’s Line is it Anyways type games) and long form (an improvised play) comedy.

Mod 27 welcomes special guest New York Improvisor — Leo Mendoza to perform at Improv Triforce.
Leo Mendoza has studied and performed in a bunch of places around this country. A proud ensemble member of Tympanic Theatre Company, his improv credits include: No Substitutions (NYC), Imaginary Friends (Chicago), SNAP (Chicago) and ed; (Chicago). Recent theater credits include: Left Hip Productions’ Dirty Darlings (Off-Off), World Players Inc’s Outsourcing Christmas (Off-Off), Artistic Home’s Modigliani (Chicago), Garland Productions’ Putman Transit (Chicago), and Dramatis Personae’s Monster Mash (Chicago). Training includes: iO Chicago, Annoyance, Magnet, Artistic Home, Act One, and The Lee Strasberg Institute. He’s excited to confront the Steveocalpyse but even more excited about not wearing a jacket in December. Way to go Florida; nicely done.
Leo will be performing for one night only with Steveocalypse on 12/11/2009.
