South for the Winter Series

Ah, Chicago, the Windy City, home of Barack Obama, Mecca of Improvisation, and really cold in the winter… So starting in Novmeber Mod 27 will be bringing down 1 Chicago improvisor every month through February to escape the frigid north for fun and laughter in South florida.

pigs in a blanketYou know, a lot of other theaters and improv troupes like to celebrate holiday themed shows. It dawned on us that this is a pretty fun idea so here is our version:

Join Mod 27 on Friday April 23, 2010 to celebrate National Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day Eve*.

To commemorate this great holiday we will be serving pigs-in-a-blanket to all who attend our show. Oh and vegetarians, have no fear, we’ve got you covered with meatless pig-in-a-blanket “crescent rolls sans the pig”.

The show will also feature improv with short form (Who’s Line is it Anyways type games) and long form (an improvised play) comedy.
